equalizers. VR's newest toys come from Ashly, and
they look something like this:

A pair of Ashly GQX 3102 Graphic Equalizers. The GQX-3102 features two channels of 1/3 octave EQ. Double-sided circuit boards with ground plane design are used in the filter sections for improved RFI and electrostatic immunity. Precision Wein-Bridge filters and carefully designed summing amplifiers combine to provide extremely accurate response, low noise, negligible distortion, and complete immunity to magnetic fields. Thats a lot of Geek Speak for, this is a pretty good unit. You peace, love, and Joni Mitchell Feng Sui types will also be able to make cosmic designs by moving the faders in different positions.
