Easter Sunday is a mere 3 days away.

We here at VR opened our Easter basket early and found a cool new toy. From Libec comes the ZC-3DV. Its a mini zoom control for DV Cameras.  It will control all Lanc as well as Panasonic cameras. Has a Record start/stop function also. It's about 1.5" square, weighs 4 oz and will fit most mini dv tripod arms. It is also about half the price of a similiar Zoe zoom. Cool toy.

Those of you wanting a test zoom will have to wait a bit as this little goodie will be accmpanying Brad on his trip to Japan. Thats right, Japan. Seems that while dining at the counter of a certain Hollywood drugstore recently, Brad was approached by a movie industry exec and asked about his striking resemblance to a legendary figure of cinematic past. The discussion escalated rapidly and the rest as they say is motion picture history. Brad is headed to the land of the rising sun to promote his first feature film, in which he plays the title roll in a remake of the 1954 classic, "Brodzilla." The early buzz is that his performance is truly terrifying. As if it couldn't get any better, there is also talk of a 3 picture deal including remakes of, "Brodzilla vs Mothra", and "Brodzilla vs Bill Gates." March Madness nothing. The big money bet here is that this trilogy goes direct to video.

Any questions should be rolled in rice and seaweed and served with wasabi and ginger.

Brad chimes in: The Libec performs flawlesly on the control L and HVS cameras. For the broadcast lenses I prefer the Zoe zoom control.
